Welcome to Health Management Department
Medical and technological advances that have taken place in the Health Sector, the increasingly competitive environment, the consideration of internal and external customers' demands and satisfaction, the necessity of the increase in the efficiency and the production systems along with medical advances made the fields of accounting, finance, management and organization essential. As it is known, health care institutions employ health care professionals and administrative staff. Keeping abreast of latest developments is only possible by improving the quality of the staff and in particular by providing them with opportunities to specialize in management. New regulations by the Ministry of Health also require health care professionals to be informed about business administration. The department which was established for this purpose started to offer education and teaching service with thesis and non-thesis master's programs in the 2012- 2013 academic year. We plan to offer undergraduate education in the 2013 - 2014 academic year. I hope that Health Management Master's Degree programs will be beneficial for distinguished friends who are working in Health Sector already and for those who plan to work in this sector in the future. I also hope that we can increase our contribution to the field together by sharing the developments in our sector and in science in general. Finally, I wish you all an effective education process.
