Dear Friends, Welcome to Health Management Department  Medical and technological advances that have taken place in the Health Sector, the increasingly competitive environment, the consideration of internal and external customers' demands and satisfaction, the necessity of the increase in the efficiency and the production systems along with medical advances made the fields of accounting, finance, management and organization essential. As it is known, health care institutions employ health care professionals and administrative staff. Keeping abreast of latest developments is only possible by improving the quality of the staff and in particular by providing them with opportunities to specialize in management. New regulations by the Ministry of Health also require health care professionals to be informed about business administration.  The department which was established for this purpose started to offer education and teaching service with thesis and non-thesis master's programs in the 2012- 2013 academic year. The Department of Health Management, which was established within Sakarya University Faculty of Business in accordance with the decision of the Higher Education Council dated 07.09.2011 and numbered 2547 and article 7 / d-2, started education at the undergraduate level in the 2013-2014 academic year. Graduate students with and without thesis in the Department of the Institute in the academic year of 2012-2013 started to accept students at the PhD level in the Department of Health Management in the 2016-2017 academic year.
